Instead of being afraid if the police, or making nasty remarks like its the damned po-po! Or idiotic stereotyping about fat, lazy cops who just eat donuts and drink coffee all the time, folks really should wake up and realize what those officers do and what they sacrifice to keep the average citizens safe!! They are LAW ENFORCERS! That means their job is to enforce the laws put in place to make our world safer for everyone. If we had no laws and no law enforcers, just how far do you honestly believe society would have gone? Look how bad things are now, with all the murdering, crimes, and overall downfall of respect for our fellow man has gotten WITH laws and enforcers! Without them, we would be ungoverned savages who would have made Hitler or Ganges Kahn look like purring kittens. RESPECT officers and what they have to do to keep us safe! They are the civilian version of our military. They fight for our freedom too, just on different battlefields and without a fraction of the respect our military personnel get!
