Instead of the likes of Innocent JEke to fight for the party which is not theirs (MDC-T), I feel it was wise for them to gang up with Mangoma, Brain Tumbo, Brett Holey, etal and form their own political party. Is it not that they claim to have many supporters? Why do they want to ride on Tsvangirais partys fame, claim to be renewing leadership targeting one person (Tsvangirai), yet it is everyones knowledge that the current MDC leaders terms expire in 2016? Surely can we say democracy can be understood in the context of listening to one rascal who writes letters to the newspapers to force his leader to resign as if the majority have said so? And if anything, Mangomas letter meant no good as he went as far as Tsvangirais bedroom. That automatically enraged the loyal MDC-T supporters. Why is it that Mudzuri, who equally proposed that Tsvangirai be retired, was not suspended and is not being talked about? Mangoma took it personal. If they feel they have been nurtured politically and have now become big, I think in Zimbabwe there is freedom for everyone to form their own political parties. The acrimony is now too much for people who claim to belong to the same party (if ever they were part of the MDC family). Are the so-called renewalists their own or someone is behind them so that they cause confusion? I think this was an ill-timed move as it came just some few days after the July 31 electoral loss. This means that their plans were mooted well before the elections and I am tempted to believe that these elections might not have been rigged but were sabotaged by people within the MDC-T. It is hard to believe that one JEke can hate his leader to an extend that he calls him Gumbura. Is this fella aware that MT still carries the mandate of a party president until 2016? If you ridicule your leader like that, do we have to believe that by any chance if reconciliation takes place within the top leadership such a person will preach good about his leader again? No, this is too much. A clean up campaign is vital!!
