Intercession Key scripture for this week: Genesis 17:5 Lot was taken captive when he lived in Sodom and Gomorrah but after he was rescued by Abraham he still went back and stayed there. I wonder how much it cost Abraham to set up a rescue mission but I assume it was a lot - still when this place was about to be destroyed Abraham went all out to rescue Lot. This is a character that we must take on if we are serious about saving lives. We must never give up on people or judge them based on their tendencies to relapse back to sin. We must not intercede for people because they need us to but because we wants to intercede for them. We are surrounded by people which we may assume that they are deliberately living in sin or going against the law by choice but that must not give us the right to not pray. We must pray for people and nations because God wants to do it...let our will be His will.
