If the issue of Political Restructure is tabled to address the numerous lopsidedness of Nigeria created by the Military North, and the North walks out, then we have no other alternative other than to bid “One Nigeria” goodbye. The Conference must address the followings: 1 Creation of Local Government Areas by the Northern military juntas who allocated more than 70% to a Region that is 1/3 of the entire country. 2 Creation of States without the input of other regions and without recourse to the original 3 Region structure. 3 Proper definition of Nigerian Federating units: either by Regions or Geo-political Zones. 4 True Federalism as obtained in other countries of the world. 5 Resource Control by the Federating units. 6 Position of Religions in the New Constitution. 7 Nigeria census using bio-metric data to determine the true population of each region, each Geo-political zone, population of each tribe and religion. 8 A new Federal Constitution written by ALL NIGERIANS for the People of all Nigerians. South South, shine your eyes, days of intimidation are gone. South East, do not quiver, stand firm on your feet, your marginalization must come to an end. To the Middle Belts and Plateau, we say break the chain of slavery from the Core North. To the South West, you must say NO to the temptation of selling out. Shelve political sentiments aside: be men enough to stand on your own, the future of your families is at stake. Posterity will judge you
