Interesting. What is strange is that newsreader from RTL Z news in Holland mentioned about Surface-to-Air Missile. Is already clear and proven that is was a BUK missile ?? How can they proof it was not a R-27 air-to-air missile from a Mi 29 or a lower flying Sukhoi Ground Attack aircraft ??? Are there any parts found from a BUK missile or a R-27 missile? ....... 1) Possibilities a BUK launched Surface-to-Air missile with a 70kg warhead. Not probable because of the complexity of the BUK ground control systems. 2) The much mentioned Sukhoi-25 ground attack aircraft with a strafing cannon attack at 33.000 feet. Not probable. The Sukhoi 25 is ground Attack aircraft like a Lockheed A10 thunderbolt. At 33.000 feet the Su-25 has poor flight envelope and turning rates. 3) A Mi 29 (Su 27) equipped with a R-27 Air-to-Air missile at 33.000ft. Higher probability. Mi 29/Su27 are air superiority fighters with superior flight envelope and turn rates. The R-27 air-to-air-missile as a 40kg warhead, range of 130 km and mach 4,5 speed. There was a Fighter plane close to flight MH17. Many talked about a Su-25 ground attack plane. But forgot that the Mi 29 has same radar profile as a Su-25. Identification of what fighter plane was close to MH17, was never identified. 4) A Su-25 ground attack aircraft flying at much lower levels than flight MH17 and launching a retrofitted R-27 air-to-air missile. Higher probability. R-27 missile has enough range to reach the much higher flight MH17. R-27 missile als aa fire-and-forget system equipped with a guidance system based on a semi-active radar homing (A/C), infrared (B/D), passive radar (E/F) Former and last surviving Nuremberg prosecutor Benjamin B. Ferenszc: MH17 disaster perpetrators will go unpunished. There is no chance that anyone will ever appear before court charged with the responsibility for the downing of flight MH17. That says Benjamin Ferencz (94), former prosecutor at the Nuremberg trials against the Nazis, in an interview with the Dutch NRC Handelsblad. Ferencz has worked for decades for the establishment of the International Criminal Court in The Hague. He held in 2011, the closing arguments in the first case of this court, against the Congolese rebel leader Thomas Lubanga. He understands that the relatives of the MH17-disaster want justice, but cautions false optimism: If the facts ever come above water - and thats just completely the question - the perpetrators will not be extradited. I also think that there is currently no court where you can go with this case, at least not at the International Criminal Court in The Hague. The promise made by Dutch PM Rutte was just a political one. Prime Minister Rutte promised the relatives that he would do everything possible to get the Perpetrators before Court. Ferencz: Such a promise is just politics. People want to hear something. Unfortunately, it is not practical. The Safety Board publishes a report about the downing of flight MH17 tomorrow. It is about the initial findings. rtlnieuws.nl/nieuws/binnenland/om-raket-meest-waarschijnlijke-scenario-ramp-mh17 nrc.nl/nieuws/2014/09/08/oud-aanklager-daders-mh17-ramp-zullen-vrijuit-gaan/
