Interesting and infuriating service from my local authority following the recent heavy snowfall. Im semi car free (too complicated to explain) and make most of my local journeys by bike, bus or on foot. Following the heavy snowfall my bus service stopped for two days, as the route wasnt cleared The local authority prioritised clearing roads but made no efforts to clear footways or cycle paths which remained too hazardous to use for days after roads had been cleared.
