Interesting decision of Russian court. In Russia there is a TV channel Dozd (Rain). In the TV program Amateurs was asked a question: Do I have to hand over Leningrad [German army in 1941] to save hundreds of thousands of lives of residents of the city?. Following the publication of the issue to the Russian court received complaints - two pensioners, who demanded payment of them from the channel 50 million rubles (app. 1,000,000 euro) in compensation, as the issue has brought them mental suffering and humiliation. The one of plaintiff said that the survey was directed against the spirituality of the society, to destroy the state. I can not work now, - he said. - I have a feeling of inferiority, fear for the country! I need internal resources! These resources will be when I will be convinced that the honor and dignity of my saved, what my energy field is not destroyed by these very statements and actions of the channel! Therefore, I ask you, dear court to support me in this equitable action!. The Zamoskvoretskiy District Court of Moscow decided to satisfy the claim, admitting violation of the rights of the plaintiffs and decided to recover from channel to 100,000 rubles (app 2,500 euro) in favor of each plaintiff. The TV-channel will appeal.
