Interesting experience yesterday. I went to see 9 to 5 at the Civic with my granddaughter, daughter in law and friends. With about 5 minutes or so of the show left, they turned on the house lights and announced that we were under a tornado warning. The actors were to leave the stage, go to the basement. They lowered the fire curtain, and the audience stayed in their seats. Luckily, the PAC is one of the safest buildings in the city as it is a building within a building. After 30-40 minutes, they resumed the show. That was a first for me! Babygirl was, however, terrified, as she is very afraid of storms. Poor kid.
