Interesting matters watching the various D-day commemorations etc. It all happened a very long time ago so equally to show we have all moved on, the German army could also have some representation if need be as I am sure many of them also lost close friends and feel pain the same as ours. Prize of the day go to that amazing Scottish paratrooper who at somewhat senior years dropped in for a visit to France! It all makes you feel very humble seeing some real heroes and people who truly gave us the level of freedom that sadly gets abused all too frequently.
