Interesting views in the Gazette, Although we welcome all improvements and investments in Redcar and think the new promenade looks great, we think the council needs to reconsider its strategy. Redcar needs attractions to pull people into our town not just office space or retail units! Once we increase footfall in the town through family attractions then the up take of retail and office space will increase. This is why a real pier would be a fantastic investment with scope for many family attractions with the possibility of educational and corporate facilities as well.
