International communities against Israel (2) NEWS| Dozens injured in confrontations after Asy’s murder Dozens of Palestinian citizens were injured in confrontations with Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in Bilin village on Tuesday after the murder of Mohammed Asy at the hands of those forces. The PIC reporter in Ramallah said that IOF soldiers used live bullets in addition to teargas and sound bombs to disperse the angry crowd. He said that hundreds of young men closed all roads leading out of Bilin and Kufr Nima villages during the IOF withdrawal, which triggered the clashes. He said that 13 Palestinians, including an ambulance driver, suffered gunshot wounds in the confrontations. He added that Amjad Showman, a reporter with Watan TV station, was wounded when the IOF soldiers targeted journalists trying to cover the event. The reporter quoted eyewitnesses as saying that the soldiers used anti-tank projectiles in liquidating Asy. They said that the martyr was killed in cold-blood inside one of the caves near Bilin.
