McKinsey Global Sourcing Centers network is a capability with the purchasing service line of operations practice. Analysts in the sourcing centers provide support to McKinsey consulting teams across the globe. Your responsibilities: ■ Conduct in-depth research using secondary databases to answer requests posed by McKinsey consultants engaged with clients in the area of global sourcing. This entails finding suppliers in relevant categories, creating supplier profiles, and conducting supply market analysis. ■ Summarize, synthesize, and package research findings in client-ready format. Research findings can be communicated in the form of Word documents, PowerPoint presentations, or Excel models. ■ Help maintain databases relevant to global sourcing Your profile: ■ You demonstrate a genuine interest in learning about global procurement strategies ■ You are able to communicate effectively with suppliers to obtain relevant information ■ You possess intellectual curiosity and an international perspective ■ You have a degree in engineering and an excellent academic record ■ You are fluent in English and Bahasa Your skills and qualifications: ■ Excellent written and oral communication skills ■ General understanding of supplier search and supply-market analysis ■ Self-motivation and a highly service-oriented work ethic ■ Willing to work at a fast pace and in a highly demanding and results-oriented team environment Your education: ■ Bachelors’ degree in engineering or business with a minimum aggregate of 60 percent Please send your CV and cover letter in English to: Ceena_gopalakrishnan@mckinsey
