Interstellar: (Sci-Fi, Adventure, Drama) A hypothetical story, transformed into an excellent film, is completely based on the directors creative and cinematic liberties and the hypotheses put forth by many great scientists. What is commendable about Nolans creativity is the way he creates, nurtures and presents his craft...which in itself a journey worth taking. His cinema; like many other geniuses of their respective genre and field, does not spoon feed your mind. Its like we, together with his mind and the characters are on some kind of quest....Nolans trademark, right? For the curious it is yearning to understand terms and ideas that one seldom / never come across, thus brilliant... for some its a journey full of thrills and chills, thus entertaining... yet for few, its just another flick based on survival instinct, thus comparisons or emotional. Some might relate to the technical brilliances, detailing and spectacular visuals, therefore an experience but for many it can be what was it all about? and thus clueless or okayish or bad. Few astronauts / Researchers from NASA are on an uncertain journey into space to find a new planet for the human race since survival conditions on earth are deteriorating day by day. Everything, from acting to visuals to background score, script, story, etc was just superb and thus for me this flick was brilliant, entertaining, emotional and an experience...so watch / do not watch based on the category you fall under (as mentioned in the second para) :P
