Introduction to Tactical Operations Course - now available for signup at anywhereccw/register! Introduction to Tactical Operations This course will teach basic skill with the pistol and is geared for the novice to intermediate shooter. This course will make you a better shooter!!! The course will be open to men and women and will cover basic marksmanship and emphasizes pistol manipulation. Students will learn the process from draw to acquiring the target and post shooting process. During the course the students will have 4 hours of range time shooting from barricades and around obstacles. Must show proof of current concealed carry permit proof of completion of an IL CCW course. Course will cover: Proper grip, stance and trigger management; Weapon nomenclature; Fundamentals of marksmanship; Draw process; Post engagement process/scan process; Weapon manipulation; One hand weapon manipulation; Positions of cover; Reloading techniques and malfunction drills; Multiple threat engagement; Distance shooting; Room clearing Equipment needed: -Semi auto pistol or revolver -Weather appropriate clothing -Knee protection -Baseball style hat -Hearing and sight protection -Leather or canvas belt -Strong side holster and mag pouches -Min 3 magazines or speed loaders -Hydration system -Minimum 4 rounds of dummy ammunition (Snap Caps) -300 rounds factory ammo
