Invite for Volunteers: Dear all, Recently, the govt has shut down satellite schools affecting the education of thousands of children across the state. The impact is particularly in the adivasi areas where children do not have easy access to the nearest full-fledged govt school. APVVU, ASDS and others (both have been long time collaborators of AID) have taken up an important action to do fact-finding visits to some adivasi areas in Khammam and Visakhapatnam districts, and come up with a report. This will be released along with a public action in Hyderabad and a petition to the concerned Minister. The fact-finding visit in Khammam district will happen next weekend (Aug 3, 4 Sat, Sun).
