Iowa Soybean Association President, Tom Oswald, CEO Kirk Leeds, COO Karey Claghorn and Senior Director of Research, Dr. Ed Anderson presented a plaque to Iowa State University to acknowledge ISAs 50 year investment of $50 million in soybean check-off funding and their continued commitment to soybean research conducted by Iowa State University scientists. The plaque was presented to Dr. Steven Leath and College of Agriculture & Life Sciences, Dean Dr. Wendy Wintersteen and Dr. Greg Tylka, Professor and Director of the Iowa Soybean Research Center at Iowa State University during last nights basketball game. The Iowa Soybean Association values its long term relationship with ISU and the opening of the Iowa Soybean Research Center is a natural next step in providing leadership to the direction of soybean research in the state of Iowa that will support Iowa’s soybean farmers and enhance the soybean industry.
