Nationwide crackdown particularly barbaric death penalty that takes place solely to contain the anger and dissatisfaction of the oppressed people, has become more widespread since Hassan Rouhani took office. In 2013, more than 700 people have been executed which has been unprecedented in the last ten years. The Iranian Resistance calls for strong condemnation by the international community of arbitrary and mass executions by the clerical regime and referral of gross violations of human rights to the United Nations Security Council. Silence of the international community in the face of these executions that are a disgrace to contemporary humanity merely encourages criminal regime to continue its crimes.
