Irelands housing crisis has reached breaking point. The RAS scheme is a disaster and needs to be abolished. This Government, whether it likes it or not IS responsible for housing provision, and needs to allow Councils to build, revert to the Long Term Leasing Scheme (where councils leased directly from landlords themselves) or buy up all the cheap houses on the market at the moment. There are plenty of people who could be put to work renovating those houses. Andrew Doyle, Simon Harris and Anne Ferris are our TDs in Government. THEY are responsible for this!
