* * * Irish Stout Shepherds Pie * * * Submitted by: Margaret Poffenberger (IL) Ingredients 1/2 jar TASTEFULLY SIMPLE Irish Stout™ Slow Cooker Sauce 1 lb. lean ground beef 2 Tbsp. TASTEFULLY SIMPLE Onion Onion™ 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables 2 cups prepared mashed potatoes Directions Preheat oven to 350°. Cook ground beef in large skillet with Onion Onion until no longer pink, about 5 minutes. Drain off excess fat. Add sauce and cook until warmed through. Combine vegetables with meat and put into a greased 2 1/2 quart casserole dish - even out with back of spoon. Spread mashed potatoes over top of meat mixture. Bake for 30-40 minutes. Makes 6 servings.
