Iron Man beats the Man of Steel. I just got done seeing the new Superman movie tonight. Here are my first thoughts and reactions. Was it great movie? No. Was it bad movie? No. The movie was just ok. Comparing Man of Steel to Iron Man 3 I have to say I enjoyed more Iron Man 3 because it was a much better story than Man of Steel. The Avengers also had a better plot also. The Man of Steel plot seemed to be rushed. The movie did have a good villain in Zod but I was waiting for the line “Neal before Zod”. Henry Cavill is a better Superman then actor form the last Superman movie “Superman Returns”. Amy Adams was good as a Lois Lane but I like most of her work. I found the story line to be weak and the CGI to be over the top so much that took away from the story. If I had to compare Superman movies the 1978 Superman movie with Marlon Brando, Gene Hackman, Christopher Reeve, Margot Kidder, Glenn Ford was better than this movie Man of Steel in 2013. For movies this summer I say Iron beats steel.
