Iron sharpens iron... I have never truly understood what this meant until right now. It is imperative to be surrounded by people who desire what is good, right, edifying and beneficial. Sometimes we forget what is good, sometimes we lose sight of what is right, we dont always do what is beneficial, which is why it is important to fellowship with those who operate in love. For one person to know every answer, to always make the best decisions, to be who everyone needs you to be at any given time, is impossible. However, it is something special when the mere presence of someone operating in love can remind you of what is good and right, edifying and beneficial... It is the very purpose of that fellowship, for iron to sharpen iron... for a friend to remind a friend of the goodness of God and of the power of love... to bring a brother or sister back to identity and truth... back to the realization that alone, it is impossible, but together... impossible is NOTHING! Today, I am thankful for the iron that sharpens me.
