Is Aqeedah important? Does it deserve the division taking place in the Ummah? Can’t we accept one another though we differ in Aqeedah? There are tens of similar questions that one can ask about Aqeedah. The answers to these questions rely entirely on a person’s knowledge of his religion. Aqeedah is the core of a person’s Islam. It can make it or break it. Placing your hands under your belly or over your chest in prayer is an issue of dispute that we can accept. But can we accept those who differ with us in major aspects of Aqeedah? I would like to hear your opinion and will in sha’ Allah comment on that in coming posts.
