Is Christianity a form of mass Stockholm Syndrome? I keep reading that we little ants are only worthy of hell from the moment of conception. This is according to the believers who appear oblivious to the fact that they are really telling us that we have been designed this way by their god. So how in the world are we tiny ants to be blamed for being designed as hopeless depraved screw-ups by their maker? However, my main question remains how Christianity could not be simply mass Stockholm Syndrome? The religious threads are filled with believers telling us that we are born depraved and only worthy of hell but for gods good graces. Its like listening to badly abused children or wives who rationalize their broken bones and black eyes with If he beats me it must be because I somehow deserve it.
