Is ‘Dalit kaa Betaa’ in the pipeline? ****************************** Mayawati’s repeated rhetoric recently that ‘dalits’ are not ‘Hindus’ is a clear indication of her fear that under the wave of ‘ Hindutwa’, they (dalits) are shifting to BJP. Now her hostile reaction to Mr. Narendra Modi, claiming himself to be a person belonging to ‘neechee jaatee’ (low caste) has further added a new serious turn to her apprehension that in the near future Mr. Modi may attempt to occupy the status of ‘ Dalit kaa Betaa’. If it so happens ‘ betee kaa maal beta loot legaa’, but if both work harmoniously, it will be good for the country. She is also anxious to know the ‘jatee’ of Modi.
