Is Nitish emerging as potent challenge to Modi? I have just returned from Mumbai. It was a personal trip related to my flat at Mira Road. The complex has 99 percent Muslim residents and secretary is a Muslim youth-educated and sophisticated one. He fondly mentioned former Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar during a conversation and revealed how he developed Bihar. He went on saying how a small initiative by Kumar of providing banking and other facilities to manufacturers of leather items has slowed down migration of Biharis related to this trade. He also said few more good things about the politician who has been in forefront of opposing Prime Minister Narendra Modi. For your information, Farookh is not a Bihari and belongs to Madhya Pradesh. His family has roots in Rampur of Uttar Pradesh. Is Kumar emerging as a potent challenge to Modi? May be, it is too early to say.
