Presumptuous and insulting in manner or speech; arrogant. 2. Audaciously rude or disrespectful; impertinent. 3. showing a rude and arrogant lack of respect. 4. boldly disrespectful in speech or behavior. Intrigue and insolence is a very good description of Obama and his presidency. Consider for a moment that he is accused of illegally obtaining the presidency of the United States by not meeting the constitutional requirements needed to be president. In other words he usurped the presidency. The intrigue surrounding that possibility has captured peoples interest in this country and around the world. He is arrogant and boldly disrespects America and our constitution. usurp 1. to seize and hold (a position, office, power, etc.) by force or without legal right: The pretender tried to usurp the throne. 2. to use without authority or right; employ wrongfully: The magazine usurped copyrighted material. verb (used without object) 3. to commit forcible or illegal seizure of an office, power, etc.; encroach. 4. to seize, take over, or appropriate (land, a throne, etc) without authority Now consider that Obama has been openly referred to as the lawless president. With that in mind read the following scripture: Now we request you, brethren, with regard to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, that you not be quickly shaken from your composure or be disturbed either by a spirit or a message or a letter as if from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come. Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God. Do you not remember that while I was still with you, I was telling you these things? And you know what restrains him now, so that in his time he will be revealed. For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only he who now restrains will do so until he is taken out of the way.
