My un-uttered reply - If you lack the possession such desperately critical skills of basic reading comprehension that you cannot decipher a sign with only two words on it, in your native language no doubt, you should never have been allowed the greatly important task of rearing children. Unless, of course, I have been mislead by long advertised beliefs regarding children, future generations, the precious precosity thereof, and the nature of normative legacy. However, even if I have been lied to regarding the importance of reproduction in order perpetuate a class system in which the poor remain so only by the desperate machinations of the wealthy, those no longer able to enforce a more rigid class system by either law or religion. So, if I have been lied to, and child rearing had no holy aura of weighty destiny and instead only the scent of spoiled milk and rank shit to recommend it, I would still be embarrassed to demand of a stranger in half grunts, wat dis? while looking at a sign with only two words on it. A number I should be familiar with as it mirrors the number of children I possess.
