Is anyone else deeply disturbed that prayers are observed at public meetings here in Clay County? Id say that I wont be disrespectful, but I feel that promoting the school corporation as a CHRISTIAN FAITH-BASED corporation, or the Chamber of Commerce as a CHRISTIAN FAITH-BASED group is equally disrespectful. Sure, Ill keep my mouth shut during meetings, (Dont get me wrong, I lived through my angry atheist phase years ago) but there has to be at least three, four or even ten more people in this county that feel just as uncomfortable as I do during the whole thing. Yikes.
