Is it that we have many, many residents and young children in #MaslinBeach coming out of the wood-work, or is it that the new playground is bringing the out of towners in..? With this state-of-the-art playground now up-graded in the Frank Hilton Reserve, who would surely miss it..!! I personally have a few reservations; 1/ The fine white sand in the sand-pit is extra slippery now it has been spewed out all over the pavers! Be aware...... 2/ Bit too close to the bus terminus & busy main road! Fencing to protect the young kiddies might be pertinent. 3/ While the stones look great in the surrounding newly placed gardens, they only look good when they are actually there and not everywhere else. 4/ Dog issues in the playground & BBQ area; Will the existing policy rules still apply? No dogs are allowed within 20mts of a playground and always under effective control on or off leash elsewhere on the Reserve. Many times in the past the Rangers have made reference with this ruling to a few locals, me included. Cheers Gillian Rayment. wingsandwildlifephotography.au
