Is it too much to ask you to believe that Jesus was a Jew? And being a Jew his understanding of God was NOT Trinitarian. Why then do most churches gather under the auspices of a Triune God, who was not the God of Jesus. Is it not logical to teach that the first and great commandment, that God is one Person, ought to feature as the basis of Christian worship? Why not? Mk 12:29: what proposition is found there? What about John 17:3? How many is God? Jesus of course is the unique Son of God (Luke 1:35) and he is the Mediator, but he not a second GOD! Ps 110:1 explains it all easily. The second lord there is adoni, my lord, not my Lord! the Lord GOD is Yahweh, and his Son cannot be a second Yahweh making two! 1 Tim. 2:5 is not hard.
