Is it weird that Im not interested in home decor? landscaping? fashion? Is it strange that I want a 2 bedroom house/condo/apartment to rent instead of this big house? Is it odd that almost all the things I thought I wanted 10 years ago, now that I have them, I wish I didnt? Is it nuts that we are working hard to get out of debt as fast a possible? Is it un-American that the American Dream is not our dream (owning land/house/etc...)? Im finding as I grow older, that the desires of my heart are changing greatly. Ideally, I would live in an small, energy efficient home where we could utilize every square inch of space. Its also less to clean and care for - so that I can spend my time doing fun stuff - like riding bikes with my kids, camping, fishing, art, sporting events, getting involved in community theater, but most importantly volunteering to help others! Perhaps many will think that Matt & I are crazy (we totally are) but thats ok. Truly we are Jesus loving hippies at heart, created as gypsies to roam this Earth talking to others about Him until we get called home.
