Is type 4 frontal cell an academic OR clinical cell ? EPOS 2014 regarding the terminoloy of the anatomy of paranasal sinuses did not mention any thing about this cell in the classification of the frontoethmoidal cells . From my limited experience I operated on six cases with genuine type 4 frontal cells that had no connection at all with the ethmoidal cells in the middle meatus ,It is really a sinus within a sinus .
