Is veganism extreme? No. What *is* extreme is claiming that we regard cows as having moral value at the same time we repeatedly and violently impregnate them, take their babies away away from them immediately or shortly after birth, kill their male babies for veal, put their female babies into dairy production, milk them so often and so aggressively that they develop mastitis and other health problems, and then end their lives at about age 6 amidst the noise, stench, and squalor of the slaughterhouse. Thats extreme.
