Heres a quick preview of the fundraisers & events we have planned for the next year (mark your calendars now!): Sat, Jan 24 - Pasty Bake Fundraiser; volunteers needed to prep, bake & sell pasties; order forms available starting Dec 15; pasties $5 each Sat, Feb 7 - 2nd Annual Daddy Daughter Dance at Mt Iron Community Center 6-8pm; tickets go on sale Jan 2; $25 per couple Thurs, March 26 - Annual Dinner & Auction Fundraiser at Mt Iron Community Center; volunteers needed for a variety of tasks; corporate table sponsorships available $500; individual tickets go on sale Feb 2 ($50 per person) April (date TBA) - NEW fundraiser! YMCA Rummage Sale; volunteers needed for prep work, set up & day of; think of the Y when youre clearing out clutter this winter/spring & donate your stuff to us :) Sat, April 25 - Healthy Kids Day; free & open to the public; families are invited to come to come play at the Y; volunteers needed May (date TBD) - NEW fundraiser! Fore the Kids YMCA Golf Scramble at Virginia Golf Course; 4 person scramble; event/hole sponsors, volunteers & golfers will be needed Sat, July 18 - 3rd Annual Color Dash 5k; event sponsors & volunteers will be needed (consider being a Dasher Splasher volunteer!) Sat, Oct 10 - Annual Fall Walk/Run & Community Appreciation Day; watch for more info November (date TBA) - MN Give to the Max Day; a one-day online giving fundraising effort for our Y These events, along with our Annual Community Support Campaign, allow our organization to grow, help us keep memberships & programs affordable for all and support youth development & healthy living in our community.
