Isaiah 44:22 (NLT) “I have swept away your sins like a cloud. I have scattered your offenses like the morning mist. Oh, return to Me, for I have paid the price to set you free.” When you watch those fluffy white clouds scatter before the wind on a sunny day, or as a contrast the suddenness of a tropical storm that seems to arise out of nowhere but driven by the wind. So it is with your sin. God is his wonderful mercy just sweeps it away so that it cannot be seen any more. Grace is undeserved favour. Once the sin is confessed it is as though it never was, the grace of God has blown it away. The condemnation of your offenses hangs over you like the morning mist until suddenly the brightest sunshine is able to penetrate the mist as it scatters it to pieces. The wonder of forgiveness is able to remove all that dark mist of condemnation. There is no condemnation to them who are in Christ Jesus who walk after the spirit. (Rom 8:1) Jesus Christ has paid the full, perfect and sufficient sacrifice for you to cleanse you from all unrighteousness. In the words of Isaiah, God just wants you to return to Him and accept the wonderful gift of His Son He has given
