Isnt interesting and worthy to note that Haitian Ambassador Antonio Rodrique hasnt called on all illegal Haitian immigrants to voluntary to leave the Bahamas. As he has noted that the Bahamas government has the right to exclude such persons be they Haitian and any other nationality from the Bahamas. In my humble opinion a responsible ambassador would have made such a call and I demand he so do without further delay and that his message be carried on all radio and television stations free of charge. It is clear that the Bahamian government is serious of ridding the country of all illegal immigrants regardless of their nationality. The overwhelming majority of Bahamians have demanded that the government eliminate all Shanty Towns where ever they exist in our Bahama Land. It is clear to me that Minister Fred Mitchell and his fellow cabinet ministers have began this painful process and have made meaningful progress. Which is supported by all well thinking Bahamians be it if they are PLPs FNMs and DNAs.
