Isnt it about time that clubs stopped being dictated to by their players and staff? Firstly we had the Pochettino saga where he had a contract buy out clause which obviously Spurs stumped up to pay for. Then Lallana publicly stating that he will never play again for the club that he was contracted to so that he could force a transfer to Liverpool. Now it seems Dejan Lovren has gone AWOL with no plans to return to his place of employment because he wants to move. And its not only at Saints these things happen. Rooney forced a pay rise. Ronaldo and Bale forced their moves to Real. Suarez is in the process of it. I reckon these players should be forced to sit in the stiffs for the remainder of their contracts on reduced pay. The sooner players get the message that the club is bigger than they are the better , or this kind of situation will just keep happening. Just seems the contracts are worthless and in favour of players. It needs to change.
