Isnt life strange?! I have been feeling depressed, our financial situation sucks.... I quit my full time job after 16 years, and I love my new job, just been lucky to get 2 shifts in 2 weeks, but when I suggested to my hubby that I look for something else with more hours, he told me to just hang out and wait for a position where I am working as a relief worker right now. Ok, but I still get down lately,& shed a few tears because the bank wants their money... Yes, there is a light at the end of the tunnel, but in the meantime, Im bored, eating like a little hog and gaining weight... I need to get back on track and smarten the hell up!!! Lol... Ok, then while Im feeling all sorry for myself, I run into a gal who I havent seen for ages, and this girl is struggling with her own demons these days.... She has been fighting her addiction to crack cocaine, lost her kids and most of her family has disowned her, & I am feeling sorry for myself?!?! Are you kidding me right now?!?! I hugged her,& cried with her.... I told her to call me.... How very desperately lonely she is right now,& my heart is breaking for her. I do believe that she needs a narcotics anonymous sponsor, someone to call who has been where she is right now, someone to help her to not feel so alone. Im going to help her in any way that I can, and I am not depressed any more about my situation. I have so much to be thankful for in my life.... This event has helped me to remember this fact. Thank God for small miracles... I am going to do my best to help her get back on track and stay there...
