Israeli peace activist, Miko Peled, son of a decorated IDF - TopicsExpress

Israeli peace activist, Miko Peled, son of a decorated IDF General, and grandson of one of the founding fathers of the State of Israel talks some weeks ago about the sickening racist chemistry that has been developing and being incited from the top down in Israel in the lead-up to this latest assault on Gaza. It is a rare perspective of personal experience of an Israeli standing alongside Palestinians whom he has come to know as friends, and nonviolent activists for peace. When asked what he, as the son of an Israeli general, thinks needs to happen as a response to Hamas to end this conflict, he said, If they dont like the rockets, they can lift the siege on Gaza and they can allow the Palestinian refugees to go back to their homes. Furthermore they can release all the Palestinian prisoners unconditionally, and call for free and fair elections with one person one vote for every person in this country, and cancel the apartheid regime. This is what needs to happen, and it needs to happen immediately. And until this happens the world needs to boycott this place, and put sanctions on Israel.
