Israels days are numbered. She is on the wrong side of history. This was not Al-Jezeera or Hamas or even CAIR. This was a radio caller from Berkeley, CA accusing me of being a tool of Jewish propaganda because I defend Israels right to exist as a Jewish State in peace (not defending every policy or defining borders). Time for all the well-meaning folks to wake up and realize that the casualty totals are primarily the responsibility of radicals that train children from infancy to hate Jews and prepare for martyrdom. Missiles by the hundreds are launched from sites near hospitals, schools and homes. There is NO moral equivalency here. There is a democracy with religious freedom that has negotiated in good faith for four decades (with Nobel prizes) versus organizations dedicated to her destruction. Even Bill Clinton was exasperated with Arafats refusal to follow through on peace terms as he called for another armed rebellion. Israel has proven her willingness to sacrifice much with the Sinai, Gaza and the offer of 90-97% of 1967 territories. Billions have been spend relocating thousands of people...and the radicals keep demanding more. As soon as Abbas or any leader will utter and write down the words, Israel in the national home of the Jewish people and has a right to exist as a sovereign state in defined boundaries two things happen: the leaders life is in danger and there isn hope for peace. Like Sadat, will someone show courage? Israel is not a Western colonial imposition. Her resurrection in 1947-1948 consisted of a small territory with a majority Jewish population. It was the Mufti of Jerusalems calls for extermination (field by his approving visits to Nazi Death Camps) along with every Arab state wanting a peace of the land that kept the violence burning. Every child killed is the direct result of Hamas and its determination to destroy Israel and the Jews. Lets stop pretending and defend real freedom.
