THOMAS (MN) MERIT SCHOLARSHIPS Founded in 1885, the University of St. Thomas has a long tradition of providing quality education with an emphasis on training morally responsible leaders who think critically, act wisely, and work skillfully to advance the common good. The university offers bachelor’s degrees in more than 90 major and 60 minor fields of study and more than 60 graduate degree programs in seven academic divisions. Currently, over 400 international students and scholars representing over 60 countries are studying at the University of St. Thomas. Competitive financial awards are offered to international students based on academic merit. These scholarships can cover up to 40% of the cost of undergraduate tuition ($12,000).
