Its far greatr thn ur famly, ur career, or evn ur wildest dreams n ambitions. If u wnt to knw why u wre placed on ths planet, u must begin wth God. U wr born by his purpose n for his purpose. Th search for th purpose of life has puzzled people for thousands of years. Thts bcse we typically begin at the wrng startng point-ourselves. We ask self-centered qstins like Wt d i wnt to be? Wt shld i do wth my life? Wt r my goals, my ambitions, my dreams for my future? Bt focusng on ourslves wil nver reveal our lifes purpose. U wont discover ur meaning by lookng within urslf. Uv probably tried tht already. U ddnt create urslf, so thre is no way u cn tell urslf wht u were created for! If i handed u an invention u had nver seen b4, u wldnt knw its purpose, n th invention itslf wouldt be able to tell u eithr. Only th creator or th ownrs manual could reveal its purpose. U mst begin wth God, ur Creator. U exist only bcse God wills tht u exist. It is only God tht we discovr our origin, our identity, our meaning, our significance n our destiny. Many ppl try to use God for their own self-actualization. Thy wnt God to be a personl genie wh serves their self-centrd desires. But th is a reversal of nature n is doomed to failure. All of thm could b classified as self-help books bcsethy approach th subjct frm a self-centrd viewpoint. Slf-hlp books usually offer th same predictins steps to finding ur lifes purpose: Consider ur dreams. Figure out wt u r good at. Clarify ur values. Set sm goals. Aim high. Believe u cn archve it. Be discplind. Nvr gv up. Of course, ths recommendtns are all good n often lead to great succes. U cn usually succed in reachng a goal if u put ur mind to it.
