It appears that there has been some confusion with issues pertaining to The Briar Cigar. Not once has Morgan Pipes, Inc. said that it owns the cigar pipe idea. The Briar Cigar is simply patent-pending, as I have constantly explained. I have never threatened nor warned any Pipemaker against making their own version. I only, humbly ask that it is innovative and isnt a direct copy. Please share this. The issue has been resolved and this is the only response you will see publicly from me. I have at no point attacked or threatened anyone. I want peace and brotherhood as I have always stated. If you wish to make a cigar shaped pipe, its your call. Just as I cannot blame one person for the opinions of others, I ask that people follow suit. Everyone has an opinion, they do not necessarily reflect mine. I have no desire to engage in slander and argument. It doesnt help anyone. I just want everyone to drop it. There was a miscommunication with a few individuals and I apologize for the lack of clarity in this matter. Morgan Pipes, inc. doesnt hold any legal right to stop people from making cigar shaped pipes. As I have explained before, please dont blame me for the opinions or actions of others. We are a very tight knit community and we dont need this garbage. Most of you know about my involvement with TPC. I dont make a paycheck from it. Im here because I like helping out new Pipemakers. Ive even opened my personal workshop to some individuals to learn. My point is this: Im not a super religious man who follows a specific book. However, I consider myself a fair and righteous man. I have 2 rules I live by. Dont be an asshole and Treat people as you would have them treat you. Thats all. Have a fantastic weekend guys!
