It becomes apparent to me more and more, when I run into people out and about, that Im the guy who posts a lot about his child. Typically its Oh, yes. I see you (Brixton or us as a family) all over Facebook!. I just hope it doesnt come off as me rubbing noses in what Ive got. I dont want to seem like disrespect to families who may not have parents who live in the same household or families who struggle to keep what theyve got together. By no means is it easy. Im just proud. Im proud of something that I thought Id never be capable of. Proud that Ive been able to change myself in ways that I never thought possible. Proud that Ive got a wife wholl stick it out with me and deal with all my shit. Whatever form your family takes, its beyond valuable. As long as youre there for each other when it really matters. Weve never had it easy. Despite what a Facebook profile might lead you to believe. I post what I post about my kin because its what matters most to me. And I hope that maybe somehow itll inspire others to either keep their unit together or maintain a sense of unity even if their family lives in separate houses. In the end, family is all we have. If we dont give a damn about each other then who will? At this point, I feel like Im rambling. And Lindsay would tell me that Im talking too much. But, this is just a sincere point that Ive wanted to make. Cheers and take care of each other. Na night. :)
