It blows my mind how dumb some people can be. I understand everyone is entitled to an opinion, and I respect that. I also get it, youd rather pay 1.70 for gas, not 4.00.... Totally understandable..... But any Oklahoman who says, its good for the economy? Have you looked around lately? Do you realize that the state of Oklahoma has a lot of eggs in our basket? Do you realize how many other businesses flourish because of the oil field? Theyre building new hotels, new restaurants in places like Lindsay Oklahoma. That wouldnt happen if it wasnt for the oil field, Look at my home town of Wellington Texas, not much smaller than Lindsay. There is not a lot there, love the place but nothing going on . No jobs being created. No industry, just agriculture.... Oh and do you realize, that we arent just out in the woods with a big Dewalt drill, drinkin beer and counting money. going down a couple hundred feet, causing earthquakes? We are going MILES deep. It costs millions, just to put a hole in the ground. So Im sorry you couldnt hack it in the oilfield, and you have no idea what youre talking about.
