It blows my mind that John Terry won’t be on the plane to Brazil. Him and Cahill were once again brilliant last night and have carried Chelsea into the Champions League semi-finals. We have two English defenders at the heart of the best defence (by a mile) in England having only let in 24 goals in 33 league matches and yet we’re going to leave one at home, Mental. If this wasn’t John Terry and his dubious past the public and press would be all over this asking why the F.A and Hodgson hasn’t tried everything in their power to talk him out of international retirement, but instead we’ll send a much weaker team to Brazil without him and then back home having not made it out of the group stages. This is just another reason why England won’t ever win anything again, we haven’t got a winning mentality.
