“It does not matter how bright your light is when those who are - TopicsExpress

“It does not matter how bright your light is when those who are exposed to it are blind.” – God As is often the case with deep revelation, if you do not slow down to receive the words above and my explanation of them, you will completely miss what the LORD wants to show you. Believe me when I say that LIVES DEPEND ON THIS. “LORD, I ask that you open the eyes of the reader so that they will not merely read this word, but also receive it. I pray that You bring upon them the Spirit of Revelation in the very same way as You did with me. LORD, I pray that this word is used for Your glory and to set captives free in the name of Jesus. AMEN.” Ponder these words. The scriptures below give evidence that as followers of Christ, we are the light of this world. Some lights may be hidden under bushels and therefore shine dimly. Other lights may be placed on lampstands and therefore shine brightly. Yet whether the light it dim or bright, it cannot be perceived by the eyes of the blind. It is important that we discern between those who are merely stumbling in darkness versus those who have been blinded by the ruler of this world. If you shine a light into a dark place someone who was groping about will suddenly be able to see but if you shine a light on a blind man there will be no change in his perception. Maybe you have been praying for someone for an extended season but you’ve never seen anything come to pass. You allow the light within you to shine brightly and yet their perception is clearly dulled. The LORD says to pray specifically that the scales of blindness be removed from their eyes. For those who are blind, they will see nothing until then. Don’t procrastinate. Begin to pray this prayer immediately. Pray it over your families. Pray it over your loved ones. Pray it over those that God lays on your heart. If you do not know how to begin, pray along with me. “Father, I thank you for this word of revelation and I receive it in faith. You know those who You have laid upon my heart to pray for. At times it has seemed to me that nothing is happening. Although I long for them to see the light, there is no sign of it. LORD, I ask under the authority of Jesus that You send Your holy angels right now to remove the scales from _____’s eyes so that they may see. (Pray specifically over each person) I believe in faith that You are moving at this very moment as I pray this according to Your will. Thank you, Father for all it is You have done, all You are doing and all it is that You have yet to do. I pray this in the name of Jesus. AMEN.” The scriptures below are examples but do not cover the matter entirely. The topics of light and darkness, blindness and sight are common themes used to illustrate the spiritual state of people. Pray over and ponder these words. “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.” – Jesus (John 8:12) “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” - Jesus (Matthew 5:14-16) “LORD, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.” Then the LORD opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. - 2 Kings 6:17 (I recommend reading the this passage for additional context) The LORD opens the eyes of the blind; - Psalm 146:8(a) “The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed; - Jesus (Luke 4:18) https://youtube/watch?v=Y8cX6SHtxeE
