It finally happened, the odometer on my bike hit 1,000 training miles. In celebration, Im starting another fundraising challenge. For the next 10 days, I will match all donations up to $1,000 and donate that money to Belizean organizations that are working to improve the lives of people with HIV. These organizations do amazing work with limited resources, and my inspiration for doing the ride comes from this amazing country. Special thank you to my donors last week, thanks to you all I am over 20% of the way to my goal: Caitlin ODonnell, Sari Miller-Antonio, H Mae Colbert Moline, and Br. James Siwicki, SJ. Also a huge thank you to my friends Ernie and Benny for being with me for the big moment. To quote the ever wise Barney Stinson: Whatever you do in this life, it’s not legendary if your friends aren’t there to see it.
