It has been a long day; Anita was in surgery for apx 5 - 1/2 hours for a 2-3 hour procedure. Her spinal cord received a laceration do to an unseen cyst in the spinal canal. She is in Neuro Trauma Intensive Care NTICU... JUST for observation... they will be inserting a drain tube into spinal canal in the a.m. in case it begins to leak. Her condition is listed as stable but guarded. It has been a ruff day! That is all.
