It has been a long, sad week. Lots of losses. Childhood neighbors, a close friend of my husband, my friends father. One friend announced that she is in a battle for her life, and another announced that she was ending her own chemo treatments. A friend has been not-so-slowly losing her mother to dementia. But this week has also celebrated birthdays, years In remission. Another family is hopefully anticipating the announcement that they might soon be first-time grandparents. The sky is FULL of stars.
